Woodland creatures are common visitors and often main characters in both YA fantasy and fairy tales. Bears are one of my favorites. While there are no bears in my WIP (work in progress), the odds of a bear (or two, or more) showing up in a future piece is highly likely. The daring model in the enchanted photos is Tina Rybakova, from Moscow. Cosplay photographer Dasha Kond is the mastermind at work blending art and skill from behind the lens of a camera. Her photos serve as a prolific inspiration for my writing. If a picture is worth a thousand words, there’s a book in there! You can Visit my character inspiration, pinterest board to view a plethora of Dasha’s photos featuring a variety of woodland creatures including wolves, foxes, reindeer, peacocks, snakes, birds of prey, and even a poodle or two.
Beautiful photos! I can see how you can be inspired by them!

Hurrah for fairytales! I’m always interested when animals pop up in stories, especially talking ones. 🙂
The photos are fabulous.

Me too. I am not sure of the cats in my WIP will be speaking by my stories end, or communicating in another fashion. Telekinesis? Dreams? Hmmm? Thank you for stopping by.

I presume these aren’t Photoshopped…? Eek! I suppose bears can be friendly enough to get that close, but still… Evocative pictures though. As you say, they suggest a lot of possible tales.

No, they are not photo shopped. If you google Dasha Kond you will find many more breathtaking examples of her art. I am a HUGE fan. Try as I might, I can not figure out how to attach photos to my reply.

Awesome photos! Wouldn’t want a close encounter with a bear though! 🙂
